That was silly! I wouldn't call it a demo, but it was really creative. Good job.

Ultraconsole responds:

Haha why not?
It demonstrates a variety of my character voices in a relatively short amount of time. But I get that it isn't a demo in the traditional sense. Just a fresh take on it.

I want to record with you guys too! Call me next time you are recording. I have only recorded episode 1 so far.

RiverK responds:

He recorded all 5 that day.

Hired.

Omahdon responds:

I'm really, really geuninely talented. Not like that sellout talentless douche-wad who doesn't have talent. Yeah, that guy. The sellout talentless douche-wad. Yeah.

Are you trolling? You can't be serious. 50 seconds of talking!?!?!

This is cool. It sounds a lot like "An Ending (Ascent)" by Brian Eno.
The percussion sounds neat but sometimes I think it "pierces through" too much and takes away from the relaxing feel.
I could definitely see this in some sort of game! You did a good job.

It's a neat idea, but the motif should change after about 24 seconds. It gets way too repetitive.

HonorOfStyle responds:

Thanks! That's good advice.
I changed it up and it sounds better now.

The first minute really reminds me of Jaws.
I just love the cool little percussion sections.
From about 2:50 to the end reminds me of this computer game I used to play called Ghost Master.
Needless to say, I enjoyed this!

headphoamz responds:

Haha, sweeeet! Love the music to Jaws! Never heard of Ghost Master, but the fact that it reminded you of a game is wonderful. Thanks Michael! :)

I don't normally listen to heavy metal, but this is very solid. I am impressed.

InYourDreams responds:

Thank you! It's allways nice to hear someone likes my music, even if he doesn't normaly like this style of music. Specially if that someone is also another good musician ;).

Finally, a worthy opponent.
Props for using organs. I would never attempt that. You did a good job with this piece, but for me, it wasn't quite as memorable as some of your other work.
@BrokenDeck I thought about Phantom of the Opera as well!

samulis responds:

Glad to hear you liked it. Memorability wasn't really the goal- hitting the right textures was. When I heard you took the path of emotion, I took the path of logic and tradition, the opposite. I figure anything I can do to make those judges think is worthwhile!

You should try organ sometime, it's quite fun!

I'm with headphoamz on this one. This was neat! I could definitely hear it in a happy little video game.
The bagpipes got annoying very quickly. I'd rather them change or not be there at all.
Overall, good job.

acmeDyne responds:

I had the bagpipe operator shot so it won't happen again. ;)
Thanks for the review!
